After the successful event last year, we are going to hold Raas Garba 2024 on Sunday 20th October 2024.
It is going to be a fun filled afternoon where we will have lots of fun, laughter and dance into the early evening. We will have our very own Shishukunj Band to energise us on the dance floor and the baalako can enjoy the event with their friends and family.
We will again have the wider community joining us once the tickets go live to the public on 23 September 2024. You have 2 weeks priority access to get those tickets for your Shishukunj family only. So get on your dancing shoes and dust of your chaniya cholis and kurtas and get the tickets from Monday 9th September 9am on:

The Shishukunj Family is opening its arms to all other communities, to come and join us celebrate Raas Garba. The bonds we build, will help our youth to create a brighter future and establish a wider network with communities who have similar core values and beliefs.
Attire: Colourful, Indian traditional, there will be prizes for best dressed dancers!

Note: All Child and Youth Ticket holders will only be allowed entry when accompanied by an Adult Ticket holder
Create & Decorate Pre- Event: 2-3 pm. (doors will open at 2pm) Let the youth creativity flow by creating your own personalised, unique decorations like aarti thalis, divas etc. £2 fee will be added to ticket price per child attending.
Food and Drink: Available for purchase. One complimentary food token will be provided for every ticket purchased for the garba event (under 2 free ticket not included).
To bring: Please bring your own dandiyas.
As part of our sewa efforts, we are doing a big collection for our local food bank- we kindly ask that you bring along with you a tinned can of food per attendee.
