This event is now FULL.

We hope that your hearts will be open in donations, helping us raise the much needed funds so that our great work can continue. Our evening will begin at 6:30pm, a light meal and refreshments will be served during the evening’s programme.

Shishukunj exists in London and around the world with the purpose of encouraging children from the age of five onwards to discover and develop their talent so that they can positively impact the world and support the broader community. By organising its unique activities it seeks to nurture the ideals of love, compassion, respect, humility, simplicity and eventually leadership so that each child can aspire for greatness in a way that benefits society.

Shishukunj London has worked with over 5,000 children over the last 40 years running activities from its three centres (Kenton, Finchley and Croydon) each Sunday as well as hosting a number of events annually. We aim for the holistic development of children and so we organise activities that physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally and socially enrich the lives of our youngsters.

Shishukunj has an international charity arm (Shishukunj International Projects - SIP) that seeks to help poverty stricken children around the world.

SIP provides funding to charities that offer food, education, shelter and health to disadvantaged children primarily in developing countries.

SIP regularly run a UK care and share programme which collects books, clothes, medical and other materials which are then transported and delivered to schools and children centres in developing countries.

As projects and requests for funds come into the SIP team, they investigate the charities and projects to ensure that the charity is legitimate and that the funds will be used correctly and responsibly.

Some of these projects may be to provide:

  • Funding to build a classroom

  • Funding of teachers and teaching resources

  • Funding for transport for children to attend school from remote villages

  • Sponsorship for children to study

  • Learning resourced and uniforms

  • Food
